The weekend is almost there! *happy*...and *double happy* because tonight I'll show one of the newest Dior innovations, Rouge Dior Baume in Lili and the nail polish of the same name!
Rouge Dior Baume can be considered a hybrid between a lip care and a make-up product. It is described as a lip treatment that gives lips a radiant, fesh, and luminous look. The unique formula of Rouge Dior Baume brings shine and plumps the lips for a beautiful, fresh look!
Rouge Dior Baume is formulated with ten times more moisturizing agents than a classic lipstick. The texture remains however thin and it offers a relatively long lasting power. The key ingredient of this balm is crystal oil, which is a proprietary blend of naturally derived lip care ingredients.
It's not your typical tinted balm because, in addition of its moisturizing properties, it delivers a good amount of pigments and it's therefore not as sheer as classical tinted lip balms. Moreover, it really smoothes the lips and leaves them hydrated.
The color I have is #558 Lili. It's a gorgeous raspberry shade, which creates a super cute bitten lips effect. I'm beyond in love with this Rouge Dior Baume. It's everything I love. It's a true lip care product, it gives a very nice color without overdoing it, and the Baume is very easy to apply. You don't need to use a lip liner, the job can be done is less than 1 min, which is really convenient when you don't have much time in the morning!
On the pictures below, what you see is one thin coat of the product. You can build it to a more solid look if you layer a second or third coat of color over it.
Oh! I want to try some of the darkest shades, such as Nuit Rose!! ;D
Lili also comes in a nail polish! and it's a gorgeous beige with pink undertones. It's a very flattering shade and I've already worn it twice! It's my go-to nude for this fall! I used 2 coats.
Along with the Baumes and this nail polish, the following items are also available.
Dior products can be purchased from your regular Dior counter (e.g., Douglas, Marionnaud, Manor, Sephora, Selfridges, Nordstrom) or directly through dior.com.
