OPI - Hello Kitty Collection

10:42 PM

Here I am with swatches of some polishes from the new OPI x Hello Kitty collection! This collection consists of 12 different colours + a special set called Say Hello, Kitty!

I've already posted some information about this collection here so let's go directly to the swatches!

People that know me, know that I looove Hello Kitty so imagine how happy I was when I heard about this collaboration between OPI and Hello Kitty ;D and the collection doesn't disappoint, believe me!

Super Cute in Pink is a blue-toned bright pink leaning on the purple side. It's very pigmented and is perfectly opaque in 2 coats. Although I have a lot of pink polishes in my stash, this one is totally unique thanks to the strong cool-toned purple undertones.

Never Have Too Mani Friends! is a black creme. It's very pigmented and you could use only 1 coat to get perfect coverage depending on how you apply it. It doesn't stain the nails and is easy to remove, you're not left with black residues on your fingers, which is a huge plus! If you're looking for a good black polish, I highly recommend this one! I might even have to get a back up!

Charmmy and Sugar is made of purple-pink-green fine flakes suspended in a clear base. It also contains hex glitters, a pearlescent shimmer and a metallic look. I used it over Never Have Too Mani Friends! You can also use it on its own but need 3 coats to get full coverage.
Honestly I didn't expect to love this one as much as I do, but I really like it over black! I wore this manicure (without the HK decals) for about 1 week and really enjoyed it! ;)

The Hello Kitty images are water decals I got from KKCenterHK (here).

How do you like this collection?
Oh by the way, my bottles are PR samples and that's why they don't have the special HK cap. Considering these are collectors, I want to get more of them of course :D I will get at least Let’s Be Friends and Spoken from the Heart!
